The Challenge ID Explained
A Challenge ID (also known as a "seed") is a unique number that determines exactly how the cards are shuffled in a game of Solitaire. Every possible deal has a corresponding ID.
How it Works
Normally, Solitaire shuffles the deck randomly. However, if you use a specific Challenge ID, our game's engine uses that number to generate the shuffle mathematically. This guarantees that:
- The cards are dealt in the exact same order.
- The solution (if one exists) is identical.
- You can compete fairly with friends by sharing the ID.
Using a Challenge ID
You can load a specific challenge by adding it to the URL or entering it in the Daily Challenge section.

The Daily Challenge
Our Daily Challenge automatically picks a simplified ID based on today's date (e.g., 20261025 for Oct 25, 2026). This allows thousands of players worldwide to play the same "Hand of the Day."
Most daily deals are winnable with optimal play, but not every deal is guaranteed to be solvable. The goal is fairness, not perfect solvability.
