Hint System Guide

Get a nudge without giving away the whole game.

What a Hint Provides

When you use my Hint system, the interface will subtly highlight a valid move that you can make right now. This is designed to be a gentle nudge rather than a command; I don't force you to take the move, leaving the ultimate strategy in your hands.

"I built the hints to be educational. They often point out moves you might have missed in the tableau while you were too focused on the waste pile."

When to Use Hints

Use hints when you've reached a plateau in your thinking or if you want to confirm that the game is still progressing. They are perfect for maintaining momentum and learning new patterns of card movement that you might not be used to seeing.

Strategic Limitations

It's important to remember that hints only show valid moves, not necessarily the best moves for long-term winning. A hint might suggest moving a card to the foundation, but if that card could have been used to reveal a face-down pile in the tableau, it might be better to ignore the hint and keep the card in play.
