What are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored in your browser. Most sites use them to "remember" you. At Solitaire Online, I keep cookie usage to an absolute minimum.
Functional Usage
I don't use typical "tracking" cookies. Instead, I use Local Storage and a few essential session identifiers to:
- Remember your game state so you don't lose progress.
- Save your visual settings (card backs, sounds).
- Store your high scores locally on your device.
Performance & Analytics
I use basic, privacy-first analytics to see which countries my players are from and how long they play. This helps me decide which features to build next. No personal info is ever linked to these stats.
Managing Your Data
You have full control. You can clear your cookies and local storage at any time via your browser settings. This will effectively "reset" your solitaire stats and settings back to zero.
