Hi, I'm Mads! 👋
I'm the developer behind Solitaire Online. This project is my "first born"—the very first site I built while teaching myself how to code from scratch.
From Zero to "You Win!"
I didn't start with a computer science degree. I started with a blank screen and a simple question: "How do I make a card move?"
I built Solitaire Online as a way to learn the fundamentals of logic, state, and user experience. Every feature you see today—the drag-and-drop mechanics, the auto-move system, the hint engine—was a puzzle I had to solve through trial, error, and a lot of late nights.
Choosing Solitaire was intentional. It's a game of perfect logic and hidden complexity. Rebuilding it from absolute zero taught me more about software architecture than any textbook ever could.
My Vision for the Web
I believe the web has become too cluttered. My goal with this site is to provide a "Zen" experience. That means:
- No Clutter: No intrusive ads or popups.
- High Speed: Instant loading and smooth animations.
- Privacy: No tracking or data collection.
Built for Everyone
Whether you're playing on a high-end desktop or a small iPhone screen, I've optimized every pixel to ensure the cards feel tactile and responsive. Solitaire is a game for relaxation, and I want this site to be your go-to spot for a quick, focused break.
Game Specs
- Version 2.0 (Svelte)
- Difficulty Klondike Turn One
- Goal Zero-latency play
Let's Connect
I'm still learning and improving this game every day. If you find a bug, have a feature suggestion, or just want to chat about development, I'd love to hear from you!
